Cubeb pepper macadamia nut
These large macadamia nuts are oven roasted, salted and coated with ground cubeb pepper. Cubeb pepper, also referred to as Java pepper due to its Indonesian origin, has a mild peppery flavour with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Once roasted, it loses its bitterness and takes on a more rounded flavour with a warm, pleasant aroma, lightly peppery with hints of citrus notes.
